Device authorization is a manual way of registering a device on the guest network. This may never be needed, but if there is a device you would like to never see that Guest Portal screen when connecting to the WiFi you would enter in the device MAC address here. This could be an employee device, though it is typical to have a corporate broadcast separate from the Guest WiFi.
